Family Messy Church Pancake Party
A fun-filled celebration!

On Tuesday, 4th March, we hosted a fantastic Messy Church Family Pancake Party filled with fun, creativity, and, of course, delicious pancakes!
Crafts, Creativity, and Lent Reflections
As families arrived, we started with refreshments before diving into some exciting Lent-themed crafts, including:
Playdough Cactuses – Representing Jesus in the desert
Charcoal Crosses – Reflecting on Ash Wednesday
And many more engaging activities!
After craft time, we gathered for a story and reflection on Lent, considering how Jesus showed His love for us during this important season.
Pancakes and a Friendly Competition
Then came the moment everyone was waiting for—pancakes! They were thoroughly enjoyed by all, disappearing in record time!
To wrap up the event, we decorated paper pancakes before finishing with a competitive Pancake Race featuring Lucy, Lucy, Tim, and Ben. The champion? Lucy Barbour! (And of course, absolutely no one cheated… 😉)
A Huge Thank You!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped, prayed for, and attended the event. We were blessed to have around 50 children and adults join us for this wonderful celebration.

Please keep an eye out on our socials and website for our Easter activities —we hope to see you there!
