Over the past week, the children have been working alongside Frankie, a Project Leader from iSingPOP, learning not only seven fantastic songs and accompanying dance moves, but also exploring the values and messages behind each one. Every song carries a powerful Christian message, helping children engage with themes of Joy, Forgiveness, love, peace and belonging in a fun and memorable way.

But before I tell you more about the week, you might be wondering...

What is iSingPOP?

iSingPOP describes its mission like this:

"Our heart is to empower children, parents, schools, churches and communities to find their voice, explore faith and know they are loved. We support schools in creating inspirational collective worship and equip churches with the confidence to reach out to the families in their community."

And that mission was certainly evident throughout the week!

More Than Just Music

One of the things I loved most was watching Frankie lead the sessions in school. It wasn't simply about teaching songs or perfecting dance moves. Each song was brought to life through links to Bible stories and truths, helping the children understand the deeper meaning behind the lyrics.

It was also wonderful to see the school staff getting fully involved, encouraging the children, joining in with the actions, and supporting them every step of the way. The enthusiasm was infectious!

Show Time at St Michael's!

Then came the big finale on Monday at St Michael's Church.

Seeing the Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 children singing their hearts out was truly amazing. The church was filled with energy, joy and confidence as the children performed the songs they had worked so hard to learn.

Just as special was seeing parents, grandparents and other family members enjoying the performance. There were smiling faces throughout the church as everyone joined in the celebration of what the children had achieved.

So Many People to Thank

A huge well done to all the children and staff at Grangefield Primary School. You were absolutely brilliant and should be incredibly proud of yourselves!

Thank you to Frankie for inspiring and encouraging the children throughout the week. Thank you also to Nathan, the technician who helped everything run smoothly, and to Suzy and the office team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the project possible.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who has supported the week through prayer and encouragement. Please continue to pray for the children, their families, the school staff and the iSingPOP team as the seeds planted during this project continue to grow.
