St Michael's Christmas Tree Decorating & Christingle

Children add a touch of sparkle to our tree

It was so lovely to see everyone who came by to our activity afternoon to help decorate our Christmas tree. Children added their stars and homemade decorations with their pretty designs and prayers.

We gave each child a Christingle pack including an orange, candle and sweets to make their own Christingles at home, as we have not been able to hold our popular service this year.  You can watch the Church of England's online Christingle service, which includes a great section from our own Bishop Rachel, Gloucester Diocese, here https://fb.me/e/1OOnRDVyz

The path to church was also decorated with numerous painted pebbles with nativity scenes and Christmas messages.

Here is just a selection of the beautiful decorations and pebbles that were have made. We are sure you'll agree, they look amazing!
