Our Jungle Explorers Holiday Club has come to an end, and what an incredible week it was! With our amazing team of leaders and volunteers, we welcomed between 60 and 70 children every day for a week packed full of fun, laughter, friendship, and faith.

From the moment the children arrived, the church was buzzing with excitement. Every day was filled with games, crafts, and our ever-popular LEGO area, where some truly impressive creations appeared! There was plenty of singing, dancing, puppet adventures, and lots of opportunities to discover more about God through some wonderful Bible stories.

Of course, no Jungle Explorers session would have been complete without our famous gunge finale! As always, it was a highlight of the week, with cheers, laughter, and a few very messy volunteers!

But Holiday Club is about so much more than activities and fun. It's about building friendships, creating community, and helping children know that they are loved and valued. It was wonderful to see children from different schools and backgrounds coming together, making new friends, and growing in confidence throughout the week.

Rather than just telling you how amazing it was, here are a few comments from some of our parents:

"Honestly my child loved it so much, considering she can be shy sometimes too. She really came out buzzing and so happy with her crafts. Thanks to all the team, you are amazing."

Reading comments like these reminds us why Holiday Club is so special. Seeing children leave each day smiling, excited, and eager to return the next morning is a real privilege.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of so many people. A huge thank you to everyone who prayed for the week, donated resources, helped behind the scenes, and especially to our fantastic team who gave their time, energy, creativity, and enthusiasm so generously.

And finally, thank you to the wonderful children who joined us on the adventure. Your laughter, curiosity, energy, and joy made Jungle Explorers a week to remember.

We are already missing the songs, the puppets, the crafts, and yes... even the gunge!
