Summer is definitely here!

Summer is definitely here, and the Church on the Hill team has created a brand-new, hands-on outdoor resource to help our families get outside and worship God together in His beautiful creation!
This resource is perfect for the 6 weeks of the summer holidays. Each week features a quick, flexible outdoor activity, a short Bible reading, and a creative prayer using things you find in nature.
What’s inside?
- Week 1: Known by Name – A playful scavenger hunt, reflecting on how God knows each of us by name.
- Week 2: Knowing the Way – A trust walk where you take turns leading, thinking about what it means to follow Jesus' path.
- Week 3: Come and See – A challenge to capture the tiny and massive details of God's earth.
- Week 4: Come and Hear – Mapping the sounds around you, followed by a silly and fun echo prayer.
- Week 5: New Life (At St Michael's Churchyard) – A gentle walk starting at the compost heap and winding past the gravestones, discovering how God brings new life out of endings.
- Week 6: Bearing Fruit – A late-summer walk searching the hedgerows for ways to reflect on the fruit we are called to bear.
How to join in
The resource is completely free and flexible—throw it in your backpack, use it in your back garden, on a local footpath, or on a family holiday.
You can download your copy by clicking the button below for all six, or click each image to download just one.
Or pick up a printed copy in St Michael's Church on one of the next two Sundays.
Happy exploring!
